Server
Colocation
What is Server Colocation?
Server colocation allows businesses and
individuals to locate their server within our network operations center (NOC)
in order to take advantage of our bandwidth capacity and facility redundancy. Our colocation
services are completely customizable to fit your company's unique needs and we
help you choose the exact features and services that will meet your current
and future needs.
Why Choose Server Colocation?
- Facilities: Your server is housed
within your Network Operations Center (NOC) and is protected by the same security
and environmental controls as our own equipment.
- Bandwidth and Connectivity: Hosting
your own server can cost over $2000 per month once you factor in the Network bandwidth and system administration costs. Crusoe Server Colocation
provides access to multiple, redundant circuits for a fraction of the cost.
- Redundancy:
Our Internet connectivity is provided by over 200 separate diverse backbone providers. If one of these lines goes down, traffic is automatically
routed through the lines that are still online. Our data center power is supplied
by redundant power sources including large scale centralized uninterruptible power supplies
(UPS) battery backup systems. In the event of power outage to the building,
UPS power is immediately provided by large scale, auto-start generators and backup
generators.
- Monitoring: As a Crusoe Server
Colocation customer, your equipment will be monitored 24 hours a day, seven
days a week by our expert NOC staff to ensure maximum efficiency and availability. You will also have access to system uptime and bandwidth utilization
reports.
